This homeowner had an incredible creekside lot in inner Canmore, just a short walk from downtown and overlooking Policeman Creek, this property was simply stunning to begin with.   The client hired Russell & Russell Design Studios to come up with a modern mountain concept that worked with the existing footprint.  With extensive timber structure, sweeping mono-slope rooflines and gorgeous wood & natural stone features their design took shape.   Half of the roof was removed and the entire house was completely updated with unique modern features throughout.  The end result was a complete transformation that achieved their intent and fit right in with the adjacent homes, combining modern aspects with features still paying homage to the classic Canmore mountain home.
